In honor of Martin Luther King Day, I felt the need to share with you all just how COLOR'D we really are. As a nation, there is not one of us that are exactly the same. We all come from different backgrounds, different history and different walks of life. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. knew what he wanted in a country so much that he fought and died for it. I won't quote the speech because I'm sure we all know it. However it all started with a dream, a dream that today has progressed but not quite manifested.

While doing this Photo Story I talked to a lot of different people and wrote down all their thoughts and feelings about the time Martin Luther King Jr. served, marched and took a stand for this country. With all the negative connotations presented each person also felt the best cure is LOVE!

LOVE; accepting one another for who and what we are and where we come from. LOVE; having no expectations and meeting one another where we are. LOVE; knowing that all colors; Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Indian, etc., can live in the same space if we allow one another to. LOVE; coming in all shapes, sizes, traditions, tongues, and COLORS !!! LOVE; because that's literally what this world needs right now. So, LOOOVVVEEEE !!!
